Grundig Satellit 1000
Grundig Satellit 1000
The fourth model in the Satellit series was the Grundig Satellit 1000 Transistor 6002. It was manufactured from 1972 to 1973. For the first time, a Grundig Satellit received a plastic housing. To ensure the consistently good sound quality, a more powerful audio frequency stage was installed. In the early 1970s, slide controls were in fashion, so the Satellit 1000 was also equipped with them. Grundig could rightly be proud that the Satellit 1000 was the only one among 14 tested world receivers to receive the rating “very good.” This radio was available in three different versions:
- black with “sunburst grille”
- black in a professional look
- walnut-colored.
